Big Walk supports 2–12 players online. When starting a session, the host chooses a 2-player, 3-player, or 4+-player world so some challenges adapt to the expected group; this setting is the recommended minimum for those challenges, not a cap on how many friends may join. Smaller groups create a more focused co-op experience, while larger groups can split up and become more chaotic.

Yes. Players on the supported PC, Mac, PS5, and Nintendo Switch 2 versions can play together. If the host’s session does not appear through a platform friend list, the host can share the short Join Code generated for that session; Mac App Store players use a Join Code because that version does not support Game Center friend games.

There is no single-player mode. You can launch a world and explore a small part of the island alone, but most progression is built around two or more players sharing information or performing actions at the same time, so you cannot complete the main adventure solo.

House House has not published an official completion time. As a rough, non-official reference, TechWiser estimates about 8–10 hours for the main story and 15–18 hours for full completion in a two-player game. Treat those as planning ranges: group size, puzzle-solving speed, optional exploration, and whether players split up can change the total substantially.
